For most of us, few things in life are as satisfying as the loving companionship our pets provide to us. A major focus of our practice is preventative medicine to increase the length and quality of your pet's life. Regular Comprehensive physical examinations, vaccinations, parasite control, and nutritional and behavioral counseling are some of the services we provide to meet that goal. If your pet does become ill, we can offer extensive diagnostic services, including x-ray, ECG, ultrasound, endoscopy and blood profiles.
Dentistry
Pets have teeth too! Gum (or periodontal disease) is one of the most common problems we find with dogs and cats. Could you imagine not brushing your teeth for months or even years! This leads to foul breath, painful teeth, sore throats and various internal health problems such as infection of the liver, kidneys and heart. By initiating a dental health program, we can greatly improve the quality of your pet's life. Dental care starts at home by brushing or cleansing your pet's teeth with animal toothpaste or cleansing products. We can provide you with some products to make this even easier than you thought! If necessary ultrasonic cleaning, polishing, extractions and other peridontal procedures are performed under isoflorane anesthesia in our dental suite.
Hospitalization, Surgery and Intensive Care
If the need for major medical or surgical care arises, be assured that up to the date procedures and equipment will be utilized to care for your loved one.Our surgical suite is equiped with isoflorane anesthesia, pulse oximetry, computerized ECG, blood pressure, temperature, and respiratory monitoring. We are capable of performing various orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries and can offer radiosurgery, video endoscopy and laparoscopic procedures.
Medical/intensive care is available for critical cases. When care cannot be provided at home, Intravenous fluid therapy, monitoring and supportive care can be provided.
